MS AWARENESS WEEK 2011

image

A life of uncertainty and inconsistency requiring me to be extremely flexible and adaptable.

Yet even with my upmost attempts to do this my life and my relationships with others have been more difficult. Because of MS I am not a dependable person that you can set a date for an event or just lunch ahead of time. I may not be up to helping a friend or family member in need on a certain day. But I try and my family and good friends try too.

But there is no doubt that over many many years and what I see into the future my life was not and is not what I really wanted it to be.  And now at 75 as I think of the time before there were prescription drugs for MS that have helped me.... I can't help but cry over the wasted years I've had.

It's not like I did not made the most of a bad situation and try to be flexible and adaptable but my body needed more help. So I am grateful to the on-going  research giving us more knowledge about MS. This knowledge has enabled the pharmaceutical company's to develop the new prescription drugs for MS.  I pray that the research and the knowledge gained from it will continue and we with MS can continue to afford these new  prescription drugs to aid us to live a fuller life.

Below is a video with a large variety of person's with MS mentioning what MS = to them. It is upbeat as well as at depressing. For more information on MS go to
