Lions r-rr-oar!! for health. Say ah-hh!

After five years, the Alfred Z Solomon Health Fair has moved to a bigger facility - The Saratoga Springs High School. As always there was a hosted Red Cross Blood drive (this time with enough staff to avoid last year's long waits), a Flu Shot clinic, and the free vision and hearing testing that were the original reason the health fair began.

In addition, close to 50 local health businesses and organizations came to fill out the halls of the school.

The Saratoga Lions first conceived of the health fair as an extension of the Lions mission to preserve sight and hearing. In the earliest days of Lions as an organization, Hellen Keller challenged them to become Knights of the Blind in the fight against darkness, and they've tried to fulfill that challenge since.
