And that's why the
Haunted Hayride was rolling in Gavin Park
Every ride was helping Operation Adopt-A-Soldier send packages to our guys over there.
It was ten years ago when Cliff Sequin founded the Operation and his son, Steven, was posted with his local National Guard outfit to Iraq.
Cliff realized we had local people over there - and they wanted to hear from home.
He and Operation Adopt-A-Soldier are still answering those calls for news from home.
They need your help. The Haunted Hayride and Haunted House are their major fund raisers. It costs almost $13 to mail a package.
Money helps mail packages and your donation helps. But you can also donate books, toiletries, Slim Jims, Dvd's, more.
Donations can be made at the Wilton Town Hall, any Saratoga National office or at Adopt-A-Soldier headquarters, 4281 Rt 50.
Along with the Haunted Hayride Operation Adopt-A-Soldier also had the Haunted House and games and fun in the gym. On October 19 Wilton Rotary joined the fun with S'mores and more in the Dailey Gym. Lots of fun and all projects of both organizations benefit the community.
