Astronaut Buzz Aldrin landed in Saratoga Springs to honor the Allegiance Bowl September 17.
He might not have been happy about the 38/20 Navy victory - Buzz graduated from West Point in 1951 - but he saw a classic Sprint Football game.
Players can not weigh more than 172 lbs so you get lots of action and fast play.
With fly-overs, parachutists bringing in the game flag, the Amsterdam Marching Band and sizzling hot dogs, it was a perfect day for football.
The Adirondack Trust Company was again the major sponsor for the seventh year. All proceeds go to area youth sport organizations.
This year Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading Programs will benefit.
Looking forward to Number Eight in 2012.
